I got a car, was able to drive and returned it flawlessly without a hitch.

My 5th time renting at Solid. Always professional, efficient service and very good deals. Booked a couple of months prior by email — easy process and good communication with Jonathan. Got our airport pickup from MANUEL (sent them a WhatsApp, 10 min delay for the pickup). Stoked with the Suzuki Jimny! Perfect for beach access down tracks. Thanks guys.

Very friendly and helpful. Opted to buy the top insurance. 9 days of driving around Costa Rica with no issues — in the final 5 miles had an accident and the insurance covered everything after following the directions they provided.

Amazing staff! Easy shuttle to and from the airport. GET THE FULL INSURANCE — we got in a car accident on the way to return the car, followed the directions in case of an accident, and the staff was very understanding and helpful.

We had a great experience with Solid Rental Car. Our flight from Canada arrived in San José at midnight, and we were very lucky to deal with this company since they close at 1 a.m. We took Solid’s shuttle from the airport to the rental office. We were able to pick up our car the same day we arrived, which was very convenient. The staff was really friendly, and the service was excellent. Everything went smoothly, and the car we rented was great. When we returned the car at 10 p.m. before our departure, the process was just as easy, and we simply took the shuttle back to the airport after we had returned the rental car. We will definitely use this rental company again, and we highly recommend it!

This is one of the few reputable companies that rent cars in Costa Rica. Their website is 100% upfront about the required insurance fees and the true cost to rent the car. They allow for your Collision Damage coverage by your credit card and remove that fee when you pick up the car. The vehicle was in good working order.

These guys were great from the start, super helpful. Unfortunately, our car did end up breaking down, but they immediately assessed that we needed a replacement and within two hours we had a new car.

Great service. We arrived very late at SJO and left before they opened very early in the morning. We decided to take transfers to/from Villa. For same price they offered to deliver cars early next morning and pick night before we left instead of us picking up and bring back. Very good communications and quick to reply to questions. Very transparent in prices with various options. Thank you Jonathan and Hectór.

We rented a car with Ronny, he was very nice and helped us with everything. Very good service! His English is good and he likes to explain everything, nice tips about the country are also included!
